You have no idea how hard this year has been for me. Not so much for the workload but how much had to be sacrificed in order to succeed. Thanks again Scott for all the support when I was feeling like I wouldn't make it. You helped me pull through.

I'll give you a little bit of insight into my year. I currently completed Computer Animation at Sheridan College. We pretty much learned everything from the bottom up. I had had a little bit of 3D experience when i entered the program but there was no way that I could do any of the stuff then that I can now which is a huge achievement in itself. We were asked to complete a 1 minute film for our second term project. 5 months to design, build, animate and complete a short. Many sleepless all nights went into finishing it but I did it!!!

To top everything off, last Thursday we had an industry night where about 50 companies came in to see our work. We mingled and spoke to company representatives and the next day interviews were requested for some people. I've never been happier. I had an interview with Dreamworks because they really liked my short and that meant more then anything. The interview went extremely well and as soon as I send them my reel my fingers are crossed. The only problem that she mentioned is that immigration to work in the US requires at least 4 years of schooling and I've only had 3. Hopefully there's some loophole of something!!

You'll see that I have a screenshot from my first done and by the end of next week I should have at least one for the other 6 shots. I don't think I'd be able to post it up here. 1)because DA doesn't support video and 2)because it will be a major portfolio piece and I'd have to read DAs copyright rules to make sure that all my rights are intact when posting here.
