From looking at my previous entry, it has officially been 5 months since the last time i made a journal. Oooops....

It's not like I haven't been doing anything. I've actually been working my ass off with school work for this 1 minutes 3D film I have to do. I'm still in the modeling stage for the character I've designed so it'll be another week until she's finished and on the way for texturing (which i will be sure to post up here). There's some rough progress in my scraps to check out. I'm hoping that DA allows videos to be posted sometime in the future so I can post up the animation exercises that I completed last term.

I'm loving college life (this is my third year in school but the first time I've had my own place away from home). I had some horrible problems with my roommate. (She was your typical party-going 19 year old valley girl taking a useless program that involved no work or braincells). I now have a new one and I finally see myself sleeping now.

It's now 4 weeks and 4 days until I get a certain foreign visitor from the UK to keep me company during my Spring break. Am I excited? You bet! And to top it off, Linkin Park is playing in my home town the day after he arrives so I got my hands on some awesome seats!! (I considered moshing but some other friends of mine, get a little too into it and I've seen the bruises and scrapes that come out of it)

So what so I plan to do after this year? Well, my dream is to work at PIXAR doing environmental modeling and props but until then I might have to stick a little closer to home. Possibilities include one of the many studios in Toronto or if I got offers for game companies, there happen to be 2 in my hometown. If the States don't work out (I love you guys, but you have crappy health care) then there's lots of work in British Columbia! There's still lots of time to decide so wish me luck!!
